Club DJ
Club DJ is a midweek church club program designed to draw children from your community to your local church and win them to Christ. Our motto in Club DJ is'Hearts that desire to please God' and our aim is to disciple children who have made decisions for Christ and encourage them to have hearts that desire to please Him. I truly believe that if we would raise up a generation with such hearts that we would begin to see things happen in our nation that would have no explanation, except that God did it! I believe this to be true because of the promise in
2 Chronicles 16:9 "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of one whose heart desires to please Him!"
The truth in this promise manifested itself in the life of David as over and over again we read of the things that God did as he showed Himself strong on David's behalf. The evidence of this truth is found in Acts 13:22, 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart, he will do everthing I want him to do" and we all know the stories of the things God did on David's behalf as he had a heart that desired to please God!
We have been running for over a decade and churches continue to join us in this outreach to children. We are currently working with many different churches from over 17 different denominations and already talking to many more. We are excited about what God is doing and have no idea where He will lead us as this outreach continues to grow, but we will continue to follow Him as He leads.
Each club consists of Bible stories, memory program, take home Bible lessons, great crafts, fun games, and sports, and an exciting achievement awards program which includes the Club DJ Catalogue. As you browse through this website you will learn more about Club DJ and how it works.
Club DJ is based on the covenant relationship between two friends David and Jonathan. We read about them in the book of I Samuel. David was a shepherd boy, the youngest in a family of eight boys and Jonathan was a prince, son of King Saul. Everyone would have thought that Jonathan would be king but God had other plans. Instead, God chose David to be the next king of Israel. You might think that Jonathan would be jealous, but instead, Jonathan made a covenant with David and promised to do all he could to help David become all that God wanted him to be. What a friend! Jonathan gave up all he had for David's sake, and the Bible says David became a man after God's own heart and that the Lord was with him.
We want the children to know they also have a Friend who gave up all He had to see them become all God wants them to be. Jesus, the Son of God, left His home in Heaven to come to earth as a little baby. He died and rose again to make a way for each child to have a personal relationship with Him, so they can become all God wants them to be. What a Friend!
Our desire is that churches and Para church organizations would play the role of Jonathan and go into a covenant relationship with the children. We believe that thousands of children could be reached for Christ, each becoming like David, a boy or girl after God's own heart.
We invite you to join us in reaching children for Christ. Our desire is to win as many children to Christ as possible and to disciple them so they choose to live for Him. Together we will seek to reach, win, and disciple as many children as God entrusts to us, aiming to draw them and their families into our local churches and see them become involved in programs such as Sunday school, youth groups, etc. Our desire is to see whole families grow in Christ and live their lives for God's honor and glory.
