sorry for not doing this sooner but thank you so much for praying for me. Especially Mrs. Dahl. I felt your prayers all summer. It was amazing to see what God did and see prayers answered so quickly. That would be my hilight of all summer. God does care about the little things. God is good.

Many blessings to you. Melodie

Posted by Aaron MacPherson, Tim Zhang

Thank you everyone for all your prayers, thoughts, encouragement, food, gifts, help, finances, time, and cheerfulness that you gave through the summer. God blessed Tim and I through them, and used these things to in turn to bless the kids.

Special thanks to my CG Frieda Dick!

And above all, thank you LORD, for your goodness to us all.

The summer has past by really quickly, and I’m glad that I got the chance to teach. I would like to thank Mr.Durston,  because without him helping from training week to the mishaps that happen through the weeks, the summer wouldn’t be possible. Also for my Cg, and the prayer band without you praying for us wouldn’t be able to get through the summer. Also for the delicious baking during training week, the send out meal, and the welcome home. The food was great and thanks for thinking of us. And without the clubs being set up we wouldn’t be able to go anywhere, and all of the awesome hosts willing to host a club. Thanks to everyone who helped throughout the summer, it wouldn’t be possible without you. And thanks for giving me the greatest summer; I really can’t to teach again :D

God Bless

Thank You Guys So Much!

Posted by Tim Zhang

Two month passed super quickly. I was still in the mood of singing and teaching! However, it was been a wonderful time to go out and teach.

Praise to Lord! You are amazing, thank you for watching upon us.

I just want to say: “Thank you guys all! You guys encouraged us so much!”

For the ones who helped to put club together and prayed for us. We cannot do this without your help!

For the ones who hostess us, I can still remember the smile on your face and kindness!

For the ones who hostess clubs, thanks for having us and provide us the place!

For the ones who cooked for us, your food was delicious!

For the ones who helped us, you guys are great!

For the other workers, you guys are great, and encouraged me a lot! Hope to see you guys next year!

(P.S: Today was a great day. In the Sunday morning we had time to share with Korean Youth Group from Winnipeg. I get over excited in the afternoon and cut myself, and then went to hospital to get my hand fixed. Thank Lord my finger can still move! Now, I am posting)

“God bless you all”

Final Post

Well here is my last final post for the summer! So vanguard club ended at 35 total kids! Which is super great, I ended up finding out that some of my cousins had accepted Christ already, and one of my cousins did during the lesson! So that was super duper awesome to hear!  The kids were great and I’m probably going to see them lots this next year out at Millar! So I know they will be able to be fed spiritually :)

I wish I could have been at Welcome Home and I loved getting to know everyone of you and hope to see you again sometime :) Thank you to all who have prayed for me this summer, I couldn’t have done it without the prayer of you all :) I feel so blessed to have been able to spread the Gospel to children all around the province :)  God Bless You All!

I can’t believe that this summer of teaching is done! God has been so good, and I’ve been so blessed. Just wanted to quickly end of by saying thank you to everyone who drove me to clubs, and for all of the hosts – you have all been such a blessing. I also really wanted to thank my CG – your prayers have been so, SO, much appreciated. Thank you for your commitment to me :)

And lastly, I just wanted to thank God for being my strength this entire summer, and for teaching me so much about Himself!

God bless!

Hey everyone,

The translation of my title is “Praise the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, the Prince of Peace Forever and Ever.”  This summer has been amazing.  It wouldn’t have been without several people.  (These are in no particular order.)          Praise the Lord. . .

1) For Mr. D.  I was incredibly blessed by him this summer.  He challenged me to grow in my faith.  He also took the time to listen to any questions I had.  Thank you Mr. D for working so hard this summer.

2) For Tyler.  I learned lots from him during training week.  He has also done an awesome job with the blog.  Thank you Tyler.

3) For the prayer band.  There were a few times this summer when I need prayer for a club.  Vangi was very good about passing my prayer requests to my CG, Vivian Quiring.  Thank you for being my CG this summer.  Your prayers are appreciated.

4) For Mr. and Mrs. Durston Sr.  They work very hard.  They always had time to talk when ever I needed to go to the office, which was about once a week.  I would leave their place excited about what I was a part of this summer.  Thank you.

4) For everyone who proved snacks during training week.  They were delicious!!!!

Also related to food. . .

5) For the people who made the send off meal and the welcome home.  Thank you.  It takes a lot of work to feed over 30 teenagers.

6) For Shea.  I had some questions last night at the welcome home.  I went and talked to him after.  He helped me sort them out.  Thank you Shea.

7) For those who supported me, whether in prayer or financially.  Thank you.

8 ) For my parents, who allowed me to teach this summer even though we needed to fix up the house.  Thank you Mom and Dad for supporting me.

9) For Gwyneth.  I can be rather strange, but Gwyneth put up with me.  Thank you for your patience, Gwyneth.  I enjoyed working with you this summer. ;)

10) For the club hostesses.  It is not an easy thing to let a bunch of kids into your backyard for an hour five days a week.  Thank you.  We could not do this without you.

11) For those who organized club locations.  Thank you for all your work.

Last, but not least. . .

12) That Jesus died on the cross for me.  I will never be able to express my gratitude fully.  You did something more amazing than I can understand.  Thank you Jesus.

Week 6 Report from Mr. D

Posted by Uncategorized

Well another summer of 5-Day Clubs in Saskatchewan has been completed although I believe what has been started God will complete as He continues to work in the lives of the children. Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Last night we had the Welcome Home and heard the reports from the CYIA workers as they shared the things that God has done. It was an amazing evening and those that were there were encouraged as they heard one story after another of God’s faithfulness.

It looks like we had the largest outreach through the 5-Day Clubs in the history of CEF of Saskatchewan. Evidence that 5-Day Clubs still work! This summer we were in 181 communities of which 66 communities we were not in last summer! We were in 24 Indian Reserves of which 12 reserves were new this year! WOW! Here is the report from week 6 and the report for the summer 2011!

Week 6

Total enrolled: 953

Unchurched: 532

Decisions: 45

Clubs: 58

Totals for the Summer 2011

Total enrolled so far : 5700

Unchurched: 2673

Decisions: 348

Clubs: 362

I want to thank each of you for your faithfulness upholding this ministry and the CYIA in your prayers. We would like to also thank all of those who have helped make this ministry to the children possible through your financial support. I am always amazed to see God’s provision as we do what He asks. As I look forward to next summer and the 5-Day Club ministry I can only imagine what God will do as He continues to open doors in this province for His honour and glory as we seek to take the gospel to every community in Saskatchewan. God bless you all!

For the sake of the children,

Mr. D
