Dear Christian Youth in Action,

Remember to live your life as discribed in I Timothy 4:12.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.

God bless you all. We are looking forward to having everyone back in Regina and the stories you will share of what God has done!

Mr. D

What God is Doing!

Jennifer Gunnlaugson: (Saskatoon, Martensville) - God encouraged me this week and let me know that I need to trust Him more in my own personal life. Pray for the children that don’t know Christ. Pray for the adults as well and pray for all the CYIA workers that they will get a boost of energy and enthusiasm and make the last two weeks count. Side Note - (Monday of this week Jenn had a grandmother accept Christ in one of her clubs!)

Lindsay Moffatt: (Saskatoon) God brought children from families that needed to hear that God loves them and let me tell them that they are loved. This week the police came to the clubs and the children didn’t get scared away and then they came back even though their parents didn’t want them to at first. Pray for the children at the club on Avenue S because they are hurting so bad and pray someone can be there for them and take care of them and love them when they are not treated right. Lindsay had 7 children come to Christ this week!

Darren Froese: (Regina, Milestone) - You can read about Darren’s week on the blog.

Jonathon Martell: (Leoville, Witchekan Reserve, Spiritwood, Shell Lake) - God brought 108 children out to clubs this week ! One girl and one boy  came up to me before club started one day and told me they didn’t know how to ask Jeus into their hearts. I then asked if they wanted me to show them and right there they asked Jesus into their hearts before the club even started. It was encouraging to see how eager some of the children were and parents about the club. Pray for continued strength and energy for the rest of the summer and that I would be able to give a clear invitation to the children and explaing the gospel well.

Jennifer Sanderson: (Red Pheasant Reserve) - Jenn’s report has not come in yet from Red Pheasant Reserve. Satan was working hard to keep us off some of the other reserves. I talked to the Pastor of the Lil Pine Reserve and he definately wants us to come next year. You can continue to pray for him as he is trying to build a church on the reserve but has had the windows smashed out twice already. He needs our prayer support. Jenn is up north this week with clubs in La Ronge, Air Ronge, Sucker River Reserve, and Stanley Mission Reserve (about 45 miles north of La Ronge) She knows of no Christian’s on Stanley Mission but yesterday had several children accept Christ! There were 74 children enrolled in her clubs up there after Tuesday. Pray for safety on the roads. Some of the roads she is on are not great! Two tires were repared today at noon!

Shea Durston: (Nokomis, Lanigan, Jasen, Leroy) - You can read about Shea’s week on his blog.

Cecily MacPherson & Kristen Willems: (Caronport, Moose Jaw) - Kristen was teaching with Cecily this week as she was preparing to teach clubs the last two weeks of the summer. It was so encouraging this week to have the children ask so many questions and were so interested. They wanted to see God in the story and it made me excited to look for God in the story. Pray for Kristen as she begins teaching on her own in week 5 that she will be able to learn her stories well and present the gospel clearly to the childern. Pray the Cecily’s excitement for God would continue to grow and also for her family as they are in the process of moving. Also pray for the children who ask so many questions.

Amy Kehler: (Wymark, Blumenort, Swift Current) - This week even though most of the children that were attending were churched children they still enjoyed the stories. Our neighbours kids came and they are unchurched and the youngest 2 made decisions on Tuesday! I was visiting with some of the parents after my 2nd club on Friday and was told that their children had said they learned more in the one hour of club on Thursday than they did at church and Sunday School. Pray that I will be able to give 110% and keep focused for the clubs.

Hidee Moore: (Swift Current) - Well this was another small week but I had great children and my hostess is awesome!! It was so cool on Thursday at my last club a little boy said, “After what you talked about yesterday I asked Jesus to come into my heart!” Just that has made everthing worth it! On Friday one of my club hostess with tears in her eyes thanked me for coming and said she hadn’t even been thinking that her own children would grow but they had so much just over the past week! So just keep watering and planting guys!! Pray that God would continue to give me His love for these children and that they would really sense God’s love.

Josh Olson: (Bjorkdale, Porcupine Plain) - You can read about Josh’s week on his blog.

Tyler Durston: (Valporaiso, Star City, Sylvania, Crooked River) - You can read about Tyler’s week on his blog.

Sara Lett: (Prince Albert) -

Spencer Elliot: (Eatonia) -

Nicole Dillistone: () - Nicole is off this week.

Kim Friesen: (Estevan, Stoughton) - No children accepted Jesus this week that I know of, but there were lots of kids who were confused and looking for answers and again God gave me the words to say so that they could understand better. Pray that I could keep the younger children’s attention for longer and that I would be able to answer everybodys questions.

Jane Robertson: () - Note - Jane and Jenn Case are teaching a VBS in Regina this week so you can pray that they will be effective there.

Jordan Gold: (Regina) - Read Jordan’s post’s
